Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20: Postal and Philatelic Service Sales Points in Vatican City are Closed
The Postal and Philatelic Service of the Directorate of Telecommunications and Information Systems of the Governorate announces the closure of its sales points in the Vatican on Thursday, June 19, in observance of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ [Feast of Corpus Christi], and on Friday, June 20, a cultural field day is organized for the Postal Staff.
Friday’s program includes a visit to the Pontifical Villas of Castel Gandolfo. In addition to being a moment of companionship, the visit to the Apostolic Palace in Castel Gandolfo is a valuable opportunity to renew the sense of identity of the workplace in the Vatican City State and fidelity to the Holy Father Leo XIV.
They will be joined by the leaders of the Vatican Governorate and by Rev. Felice Bruno, Head of the Postal and Philatelic Service.
