The Postal and Philately is a Service of the Directorate of Telecommunications and Information Systems of the Governorate of the Vatican City State.
The Postal and Philately Service:
• manages the collection, stamping and forwarding of correspondence, inside and outside the Vatican City State, as well as the distribution of incoming correspondence to the recipients;
• takes care of the technical profiles in relations with the world postal union through postal operators and competent supranational and international bodies;
• takes care of the planning, study and implementation of the issuance of postal values for stamp values or philatelic use and the creation of postal products (folders and souvenir envelopes).
